Talent Sourcer
About the Role
As a Talent Sourcer, you will play a key role in identifying, engaging and building relationships with exceptional talent across Global Switch. Using advanced sourcing techniques, talent mapping, market intelligence and digital tools, you will build and maintain diverse talent pipelines that support both immediate and future hiring needs.
Working closely with Talent Acquisition Partners, HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers, you will provide market insights, develop targeted sourcing strategies and uncover passive talent across key markets. Through innovative sourcing approaches, data-driven decision making and proactive talent engagement, you will help strengthen Global Switch's talent pipeline, reduce reliance on external agencies and ensure access to the talent needed to support our continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead direct sourcing activity across LinkedIn Recruiter, talent communities, referrals, networking events and alternative sourcing channels to identify high-quality passive talent.
Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract hard-to-find and niche talent across EMEA and APAC.
Build targeted candidate shortlists and talent pools aligned to current and future hiring requirements.
Reduce dependency on external recruitment agencies through proactive talent identification and engagement.
Conduct talent mapping projects for critical, confidential and future-focused hiring requirements.
Utilise LinkedIn Talent Insights and market intelligence tools to analyse competitor hiring activity, talent availability, compensation trends and workforce movements.
Provide regular market insight reports to Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition Partners.
Identify emerging skills and talent trends to support workforce planning and succession planning activities.
Build and maintain high-quality talent pipelines for priority and forecasted roles across all business functions.
Create and nurture talent communities through ongoing engagement campaigns and relationship management.
Maintain warm candidate networks for future opportunities and strategic hiring projects.
Act as a sourcing subject matter expert, advising stakeholders on candidate availability, market conditions and talent attraction strategies.
Facilitate sourcing strategy meetings and provide recommendations on the best approach for difficult-to-fill vacancies.
Maintain accurate talent pipeline data within Teamtailor and associated sourcing platforms.
Track sourcing KPIs including pipeline health, response rates, conversion rates, talent pool growth and source effectiveness.
Use AI, automation and digital sourcing tools to improve efficiency and candidate identification.

You build strong relationships with stakeholders and candidates alike, leveraging technology, market knowledge and innovative sourcing techniques to strengthen talent pipelines, reduce reliance on external agencies and support long-term workforce planning. Key Requirements:
Expert-level sourcing capability across LinkedIn Recruiter, talent communities, referrals, networking platforms and alternative sourcing channels.
Ability to identify and engage passive candidates for niche and hard-to-fill roles.
Strong understanding of Boolean search, X-Ray searching and advanced sourcing methodologies.
Experience developing creative sourcing strategies that deliver high-quality and diverse talent pipelines.
Ability to conduct detailed talent mapping and competitor analysis projects.
Skilled in using LinkedIn Talent Insights and other market intelligence tools to generate actionable hiring insights.
Experience nurturing passive talent communities through targeted campaigns and ongoing engagement.
Strong consulting skills with the ability to challenge thinking and influence hiring strategies.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present sourcing insights and market intelligence clearly.
Ability to use recruitment technology, AI tools and automation to improve sourcing effectiveness.
